Programs

Through new program initiatives, Common Ground is expanding its capacity to solve homelessness for individuals and families on both ends of the homelessness spectrum: the chronic homeless, who have remain trapped in homelessness for long periods, and individuals and families facing homelessness who with targeted help, can avoid that trauma.

From Street to Home, which assists homeless individuals living on the street for a year or more to move into housing, to our HomeLink and Re-Entry Housing Initiative that secure housing and critical help for those on the verge of homelessness, Common Ground uses research findings, adapts successful practices, and creates innovative new strategies to solve homelessness.

Common Ground monitors its programs to measure progress against stated goals and to make necessary refinements. Program outcomes and data such as the number of clients who secure and remain in housing, cost per client, and other measures indicating success and effectiveness are rigorously tracked and analyzed to inform the design of new programs and provide an evidence base to Common Ground’s policy views.
