Highlights of the past year at The Aurora included:

• Occupancy rate of 97%.
  
  
  
• Replaced air conditioning units throughout the building with the help of NYSERDA.
  
  
  
• Selected to participate in a pilot project, free of charge, to install a Control Energy Monitoring (CEM) system through NYSERDA. The CEM system amounts to a $100,000 improvement and will assist Common Ground Management in tracking and managing heat and air conditioning temperatures throughout the building.
  
  
  
• Opened a new health clinic. The Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic provides free medical care to eligible entertainment professionals and tenants. The medical oversight is provided by New York Presbyterian Hospital with a full-time Medical Director on site.
  
  
  
• Held free workshops and seminars on such topics as “Meditation,” “Writers Workshop,” “Dance and Stretch for Fun & Health,” and “Senior Stretch.” An average of 80 tenants per month attended.
