Marketable securities held in a brokerage or trust account generally should be transferred to Common Ground through the DTC process outlined below.
First, have your broker call 212.389.9377 or fax 212.389.9311 to notify Common Ground and begin the transfer process. The broker should provide the following information:
- Name of brokerage firm or trust company
- Name of broker, phone and fax number
- Number of shares and name of security
- Intended date of transfer
- Name of donor
- Intended designation for gift
